One of the most recent projects that Monocent has had the honor of being part of and be instrumental in its validation has to do with revolutionizing HPV and STI detection through Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Technology.
Through this method you have the ability to detect 27 HPVs and 13 STIs in one single reaction with a simple workflow. The accuracy and volume of information that this technology can provide, puts it ahead of all its competition. And given its low cost to setup and operate, this technology is the obvious choice for any medium to large size lab.
